They said "I DO!"

I had the honour of shooting Ryan and Nicole's engagement photos a little while ago and had always looked forward to documenting their wedding day!  Although there was a forecast for rain the sun shone brightly and the skies remained clear on their special day.  I must say Nicole and Ryan looked amazing!  They radiated the joy and love they felt.  While I was off to be with the bride for pre-wedding shots my two assistants were with the groom and his "entourage".  I think the guys all say thanks for the ironing!  I giggled to myself while editing for I think this is the first time I know of that the groom played poker with the wedding rings on the table or where they went to a grocery store for pre-wedding shots!  It looked like such fun.....you will see what I mean when you look at the photos!  We wish Ryan and Nicole nothing but clear skies, joy and happiness in the years to come! 

Summer Days

Children have a way of enjoying the moment just for the moment.  They have the uncanny ability to make you want to go back and relive your childhood.  May we all learn from this little one's example to stay cool during the summer months, lay back, relax and simply enjoy.

Family Celebration

Family get togethers are always special.  This one was to honour a wonderful woman who is a very much loved Mom and Grandma.   I could tell how much she is loved and admired by her family.  From the smallest to the tallest we had a great time.  Here is to this special lady;  happy birthday, wishing you love, laughter and happiness!

Jen & Devan

Excitement is in the air!  Not only for me as I photographed this amazing couple but also for them as they await the arrival of their first born.  We had a great day to work outside so after a few shots in studio we moved to the great outdoors.  The sun and a wheat field made for a wonderful shoot.   I can't reveal it but they have names picked out for their baby that are as unique and individual as they are.  I can not wait to greet their newborn and capture a few more images for them!
